Nevada Corporate Housing Standards
Standard statutory & contractual benchmarks governing procurement in Nevada:
Nevada transient lodging tax terminates after 30 consecutive days of continuous residency, allowing enterprise mobility teams in Las Vegas and Reno to transition to non-taxable residential rates. Enterprise procurement teams secure executive housing under commercial entity master contracts, insulating companies from individual consumer tenancy restrictions while maintaining flexible extension options.
In Nevada, corporate housing agreements bundle electric, water, high-speed fiber internet, and streaming utilities into a flat monthly corporate invoice. This avoids taxable utility resale audits while standardizing per-diem accounting across business units.

Google Review Sentiment & Client Excerpts
“MAA receives praise for its welcoming and professional leasing consultants who provide excellent initial experiences. However, residents report significant issues including excessive pet charges, unreliable maintenance, poor property upkeep, and accessibility concerns.”
Hi. Just a heads-up: if you have a pet, I recommend lifting up your carpet and taking photos of it. When your lease ends, they’ll likely try to charge you over $1,000 for dog stains; even if the stain is just in one room, they’ll charge you for the entire carpet. I suggest documenting the carpet's condition now so you're prepared. They charged me even though I cleaned it and had it professionally washed claiming there were stains in a bedroom, and I didn't even know what the carpet looked like before I moved in. So, be careful. I really not recommend this apartments if you have pets because they They take advantage of the fact that you have a pet to renovate the apartment using your own money, so be very careful; check the carpets and take photos of them before signing a lease agreement.
Apartment Complex Review I would give this property zero stars if I could. We lived here for three years, and while our first impressions were positive, things quickly went downhill. When we first moved in, Hannah in the office was amazing—warm, welcoming, and made us feel at home. Unfortunately, after she left, the property began to decline dramatically. Trash was constantly scattered around, and our apartment reeked of weed (we don’t even smoke). Maintenance was unreliable, rarely followed instructions to schedule visits, and often ignored basic requests. For example, we had black hair coming through our drains, which clogged our tub. Neither of us has black hair, and when no one came to fix it after two days, we had to fix it ourselves. As an ADA apartment, this posed serious safety concerns, yet management did nothing. We experienced multiple issues: Mold that was never properly addressed, even though it clearly came from within the walls. Bike Theft, including our daughter’s bike, with no resolution from management. Patio Violation Mistake, where we were falsely accused of having a dirty patio. The photo they sent wasn’t even our unit, and there was no apology when we pointed it out. Handicap Parking Discrimination, where my tire was marked after parking in the ADA spot for just two days. Despite my disability and ADA unit, staff insisted I had to move daily, which is not stated in the lease. To also give others a fair chance to park in handicap. Poor Maintenance and Service, including a rude response when our hot water heater broke on a holiday, a dishwasher and microwave that were never properly fixed, and water that stayed lukewarm for almost three years. Accessibility Issues, with minimal ramps and inconvenient routes for anyone with mobility limitations. On top of this, parking was a nightmare. If you came home after 5 p.m., expect to park far away or outside the gates. The pool, supposedly an amenity, was closed for the majority of the summer—95% of the time—and maintenance was always delayed until the peak season. I’m gonna add we probably will get charged for the carpet it wasn’t glued properly and there is normal damage pretty sure it wasn’t even replaced before us a black stain by the kitchen showed up 2 weeks after we moved in. When I said It was lifting they wanted to charge me at first a couple hundred I’m like just forget it. Then the manager came back and said we can do it no charge but you have to move everything out of the bedroom so they can stretch it, bigger hassle. Then they still charge a cleaning fee even if you clean your apartment to “their move in ready” If you enjoy the smell of constant weed, having to fix your own apartment issues, fighting for handicap access, and never having reliable amenities, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away.
Today I had a tour of a one bedroom apartment I was a simple walk in and Matthew was there preparing to have lunch. He said he heard the door open but wasn’t sure. Matthew was amazing he allowed me to explain my situation and my need for a place. He didn’t hesitate to show me the first available unit. I love it! The 3rd floor was a lot but we will manage. I submitted my application today and I’m hoping and praying for good results. Thank you again Matthew
I had an excellent experience at MAA Desert Vista thanks to Breonna. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and professional. She was very knowledgeable about the community and took the time to answer all of my questions in detail. Breonna was incredibly informative and made the entire process easy to understand. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and confident about applying. Her kindness, patience, and outstanding customer service truly stood out. It’s rare to meet someone who is both highly professional and genuinely caring. Breonna made a lasting impression, and I would highly recommend MAA to anyone looking for a new home.
