Missouri Fleet Leasing Standards

Standard statutory & contractual benchmarks governing procurement in Missouri:

Intrastate DOT & Regulatory MandatesDOT & Safety

Commercial fleet operations across Missouri require strict adherence to gross weight classifications. Vehicles rated between 10,001 and 26,000 lbs operate without a CDL but require active DOT medical cards and electronic logging devices (ELD), while units over 26,001 lbs require certified CDL drivers and IFTA reporting.

Lease Taxation & Accounting StructureTax & Depreciation

Enterprise fleets in Missouri leverage open-end Terminal Rental Adjustment Clause (TRAC) structures. This preserves operational capital, shifts residual asset risk favorably to commercial operators, and allows companies to deduct monthly lease charges as operational expenditures under ASC 842.

Purchased a Tree Forestry truck back in 2020-21. Recently this truck would not Start! Had a mobile mechanic out who diagnosed it was a CDM problem and had to go to Ford. At Ford they told me that this truck had an aftermarket windshield in it, which was news to me seeing I never replaced it No Factory insignia on the windshield whatsoever so my best guess is it had to be replaced because it got broke during shipping Or for some reason Before I purchased it through Custom Truck. What Ford told me is that because of the windshield leaking apparently water had somehow filled the fuse box causing corrosion and had to be replaced $6000 later, I have my truck back.

Best place to get your truck, Crane, boom truck, conveyer, cement truck, rail truck, bucket truck, and any other truck that needs a little attention. Also a great place to rent just about any truck or equipment you could need on any job light or heavy. If you need something specific they can even build it for you. There are a customer driven company for sure

Avoid this place. Do not waste your time coming here. Tried to swing by to look at a $100K+ truck I was interested in purchasing today. They lock up all their trucks in a pen behind the building, but leave the gate wide open all day? They REFUSE to let you in to look at the exterior of the truck. They don't trust you enough to let you in without a salesperson. Stupid policy Even though the office has workers, none can walk you back there for 2 min. Must have apt. What a waste of time. What car/truck dealer does that?! Why would I buy from you if I can't even look at the equipment I want to purchase? Just go ahead and hide all your inventory from the public; if that's the case keep it. You lost a nice sale today. Waste of time.

If you’re reading this and haven’t made a purchase. Do yourself a favor and keep searching the market for a better solution. Custom One Truck Source is a prime example of a major corporation taking advantage of the average American small business.
