Illinois Fleet Leasing Standards
Standard statutory & contractual benchmarks governing procurement in Illinois:
Commercial fleet operations across Illinois require strict adherence to gross weight classifications. Vehicles rated between 10,001 and 26,000 lbs operate without a CDL but require active DOT medical cards and electronic logging devices (ELD), while units over 26,001 lbs require certified CDL drivers and IFTA reporting.
Enterprise fleets in Illinois leverage open-end Terminal Rental Adjustment Clause (TRAC) structures. This preserves operational capital, shifts residual asset risk favorably to commercial operators, and allows companies to deduct monthly lease charges as operational expenditures under ASC 842.

Google Review Sentiment & Client Excerpts
“Elite Truck Rental receives praise for its friendly staff, clean trucks, and efficient service, with many customers having positive rental experiences. Conversely, significant negative feedback highlights issues with unprofessional management and alleged unauthorized billing practices.”
Was moving from Charlotte to Chicago in a short window and Tyrese came in handy with loading up my truck with my stuff from the 3rd floor. He packed, wrapped and ensured that nothing would shift or break in transit. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a company to help in your next adventure!
Very unprofessional business with extremely rude customer service. It honestly feels like all they care about is money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are only two people working in the front. The woman there was actually respectful and tried her best to help, but whenever something was out of her control, she had to involve the manager and that’s where everything went downhill. The manager was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Instead of resolving issues professionally, he would just throw out random charges with no proper explanation. He constantly talks down to customers, calls people “buddy” in a disrespectful way, and acts like he’s above everyone. I’m not even sure if he’s the owner or just the manager, but either way, his attitude is terrible. He also hangs up the phone quickly instead of trying to help customers. I own multiple businesses and trucks myself, but because one of my trucks broke down, I had to rent temporarily and decided to use this company. That was a huge mistake. They showed absolutely no respect or professionalism. I normally don’t leave reviews, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. If they had simply treated customers with respect and provided decent customer service, I would not be posting this. I will never use this company again, and I will absolutely warn others, including people from my businesses and customers, to avoid this place. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. And before they try to claim I was never a customer, I have proof and records of everything.
Best experience renting and picking up a truck I’ve had. Super friendly guys, even asked us about our move and gave us some recommendations for our new city. Very thorough and explained everything to us. 10/10.
SCAM SCAM SCAM. Please DO NOT patronize this business. They illegally charged my credit card with unauthorized charges. I have never been to the place, rented a vehicle, or used any of their products. I called and the staff was very nasty and unaccomodating. "Pat" was dismissive, screaming, condescending, and uncooperative. He even challenged and urged me to write this review and/or pursue other methods of having the charges reversed. I am seeking help from the Senior Citizens Services Division as well. My journey has just begun.
