Florida Fleet Leasing Standards

Standard statutory & contractual benchmarks governing procurement in Florida:

Intrastate DOT & Regulatory MandatesDOT & Safety

Commercial fleet operations across Florida require strict adherence to gross weight classifications. Vehicles rated between 10,001 and 26,000 lbs operate without a CDL but require active DOT medical cards and electronic logging devices (ELD), while units over 26,001 lbs require certified CDL drivers and IFTA reporting.

Lease Taxation & Accounting StructureTax & Depreciation

Enterprise fleets in Florida leverage open-end Terminal Rental Adjustment Clause (TRAC) structures. This preserves operational capital, shifts residual asset risk favorably to commercial operators, and allows companies to deduct monthly lease charges as operational expenditures under ASC 842.

We had a terrible experience with a driver for this company on the highway. (Not sure if he is Orlando based) We were ran off the road with my toddler in the backseat due to his reckless driving. I usually never complain but this was ridiculous!
