Reserved a scissor lift and they asked what kind of car I had because they’d need to attach a trailer to it. I told them I had an SUV and they said they had everything here to attach it to my car so I could rent it. I drove 30 min to get here and they said since my car didn’t have a receiver they couldn’t attach anything. I asked why they told me over the phone that they had everything for me to attach the trailer on and they said most of their customers should know about their car’s towing capabilities. Obviously not what I was told over the phone. I already scheduled everyone to come out tonight and now we can’t even rent the most important piece of equipment to get the job done because they told me they had everything for me here which was a lie. I’m absolutely livid at these people for wasting everyone’s time especially since I called in asking about my car’s capacity to tow the scissor lift. Instead of asking the right questions I was assured that my car was fine to tow it and that I just needed to come before they closed at 12 today.
