I'm traveling and forgot about charger for my high powered laptop (not super common wattage). He had one and sold it for a very reasonable price. He was a very nice, helpful gentleman. Really cool shop, too, if you're a computer geek like me.

GEM broke my AIO TOUCHSCREEN LEVNOVO COMPUTER AND TRIED TO MAKE ME PAY FOR REPLACING IT WITH AN OLD DELL no touchscreen bigger & than I needed. This is the text message he sent ME: HE NEVER STATED A CRACKED SCREEN ! WHO WOULD BRING IN A AIO CRACKED SCREEN AND THAT'S NOT LISTED AS A REPAIR COST?? HE ALSO STATED THAT HE NEVER TURNED IT ON TO SEE.. SO HOW WOULD HE KNOW WHAT IT NEEDED EXACTLY?? I WENT BY THERE TODAY TO SPEAK WITH HIM CALMLY HE ADDRESSED ME AGRESSIVELY & WOULD NOT GIVE ME A PAPER COPY OF MY ORIGINAL REPAIR TICKET THAT STATES NOTHING of a cracked screen NOR IN THE EMAIL TO ME? I HAVE BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS REPAIR SHOP FOR OVER 17YRS AND I REMINDED HIM OF MY DOING BUSINESS THERE HE STATED IT DOES NOT MATTER. HE HAS HAD MY AIO SINCE MARCH 6TH AND I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DO WORK FROM HOME GIGS. WAITING ON HIM TO REPLACE MY AIO. This dude lied to me and gave me pricing over the phone 2 weeks before I brought in my computer so I paid a diagnostic fee somewhere else based on the price that I was given here being $100 cheaper just so when I brought my computer in he added on a $100+ labor fee and said it was my fault for not asking if there was any other fees involved. When I tried to explain to him what he told me over the phone 2 weeks prior he cut me off repeatedly and refused to give me the original price he quoted me and told me to go back to the other location then or to just get out already. He was so rude literally go anywhere else.

I retired recently. Haven't built a computer in a while but I figured, "No problem!" Would not power up. Tweaked all the connections, no help. Checked with a local computer shop and was told it would be $100 an hour and they would have to do a full rebuild. Took it to GIM because I bought a computer there years ago. They fixed it almost as soon as they started working on it, only charged me for one hour's work. I live 30 miles away and, well, you know Atlanta traffic. Was totally worth the time and gas to trust GIM. Was worth every penny. Excellent service, excellent work. 10/10 no question.

Do not come here to get your laptop fixed. I brought my cracked MacBook here to get fixed. Once the laptop was so-called fix my screen started messing up immediately. I brought it back during my warranty and the guy so-called fixed it again he did not fix my computer screen at all. He shops from cheap vendors I could not access my camera and my screen was still having issues, and when I came back the older Asian guy who runs the shop, gave me a hard time and complained about Apple instead of treating me like a good customer after I spent $500 for nothing. Don’t waste your time or money go somewhere that values you and actually does good technical work
