**edit** i was able to reach out to neighbor works toledo and they have been amazingly helpful. The website itself is very easy to work with and they are very clear about the information needed. Using neighborly to seek rental assistance in toledo Ohio. If you don't want more stress than you had with your eviction notice in hand, call 211. I waited months and then was told to email in my bills that had been adding up over the 3 months that the application took to get reviewed and passed since I could not update them on the app after being approved. After I emailed them in, they only payed the one month that I had on my application since I wasn't able to put in bills I had not yet gotten. I then reached out again and was asked again to send in updated bills and was told that she would handle it, and it would take about a week. That was on September 17th. On Oct 4th I reached out because still nothing was paid and I am extremely close to getting my electric shut off, which is instant grounds for eviction where I live. So even though they paid rent (the only steady bill that I had so I was able to put every month on there) it may be very pointless very soon when I get evicted even though rent is payed. She responded on the 6th that I had to reapply NEXT month, and that they can not pay bills month to month by email like they had been.. she told me to look for other resources, which are all just as swamped as they are. With having spent 3 weeks waiting on a lie, I no longer have time to seek other help. I've emailed in to the first woman I spoke to, asking that she keep her original word. And I emailed in to the main email asking for my story to be passed along to a manager. If they fix this, I will update my review.
There software program for the end user is horrible. It is one of the most confusing and time consuming programs I have ever used. There are multiple technical issues with logging in. If you call into there office you can’t speak to anyone directly nor will they return your call. The tech support team will give you cookie cutter response’s and will continually pawn you off to another tech support team member, only to have to go through the same process with lack of help or support. I tried multiple times via cell, email and direct message at office to speak to anyone live and have reached out to Jason Rusnak - President to try to get any kind of help or support with this this issue. I would highly recommend that you avoid using this software suite at all costs.
Their app sucks, alot of going in circles just to log in. Definitely could use an upgrade or something. 🤷🏾♂️
