The SE Portland Tool Library (SEPTL) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2010, serving the Portland, OR community. Located at 1137 SE 20th Ave, Portland, OR 97214, SEPTL offers free access to a diverse inventory of tools and equipment for various DIY projects, including home improvement, yardwork, crafting, cycling, and automotive repairs. Operating much like a traditional book library, members can borrow tools for up to 7 days at no cost, supported by voluntary donations. The library aims to empower community members by providing resources for their projects, fostering sustainability, and reducing the need for individual tool purchases.
