Scam alert. Rented a scissor lift, canceled it, and they forced a Zelle payment instead of giving us a proper invoice. We have zero proof of payment now. Since then, they've ignored every phone call and text. It looks like they just took the money and ran. Don't trust this vendor at all. After digging into other reviews, it looks like this isn't just about rentals—there are serious allegations that the people behind this (Shawn Stiltz aka Shawn Sequira) are also running fake casting scams targeting models. Avoid this place entirely.
I know SAS only works on mostly big feature films but they really helped me with my equipment rentals for generators, scissor lifts, and camera gear for my small budget short film. I just want to say thanks for all the help making the rental process smooth and the time that you spent guiding us through how to safely use the equipment on our film set!
